Some people believe that improving your life at a granular level is the key to improving it on a larger scale. I agree with this line of thinking, as I know that the some of smallest changes I’ve made have had some of the biggest impacts on the way I live my life and my general attitude towards everything. Some of these changes have been tough to make, but some have also been super easy.
So, I thought I’d share 5 great habits that you can try out for yourself, to see if you too can benefit and see some real results!
1. Exercise as soon as you get out of bed
This is arguably my favourite habit, as it is the one on this list that I have managed to keep up for the longest period of time, and it presents so many benefits. I should clarify first that I don’t mean you should go for a 10 mile run as soon as you wake up, but instead I just recommend trying to implement some sit-ups or push-ups into your morning routine.
The benefits of this are manifold, starting of course with the fact that exercise is good — even if it is just a small amount. The second and perhaps most useful benefit of this habit is the ability it has to really wake you up.
